Montana State senior Claire Rennie, who competed in her final NCAA Championship, posted a 13th place showing in the women’s 15K freestyle on Saturday afternoon to lift the Bobcats to an 18th place team finish.
The Montana State ski team sits in 18th place after the first Nordic competition of the NCAA Skiing Championships following Thursday’s classical event.
Five Nordic skiers will compete at the 2009 NCAA Championships this week in Maine.
Montana State sophomores Ryan Scott and Kaelin Kiesel each posted eighth place finishes for the Bobcat ski team at the 2009 NCAA West Regional/Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships on Friday in Reno, Nevada.

Women's Basketball
Bussey, the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year, posted 30 points, connecting on 12-of-20 from the field, including a six-of-eight effort from beyond the three-point arc. She also finished with two rebounds, an assist and a steal against Pacific Sunday.

Patrick Casey garnered All-Mountain Region honors placing 21st at the Mountain Region meet Saturday. He is the first Bobcat since 2005 to place in the top 25 at the meet.
