Montana State’s cross country team placed eighth overall at the Mountain Region meet in Albuquerque, New Mexico, closing the door on their opportunity to run in the nationals as a team.
GREELEY, Colo. – Due to inclement weather making travel hazardous for several teams, the 2009 Big Sky Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by the University of Northern Colorado has been postponed one hour.

Bussey, the 2008-09 Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year, posted 30 points, connecting on 12-of-20 from the field, including a six-of-eight effort from beyond the three-point arc. She also finished with two rebounds, an assist and a steal against Pacific Sunday.

Patrick Casey garnered All-Mountain Region honors placing 21st at the Mountain Region meet Saturday. He is the first Bobcat since 2005 to place in the top 25 at the meet.
